· Knowledge of Inventory Management and Storekeeping methods and procedures · Record keeping and data reconciliation skills · Order picking and packing · Perfect time management skills · Stock control and perpetual inventory procedures · Safety issues related to the physical handling of supplies and materials. · Must have excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork. COMPUTER SKILL · Conversant with Spread Sheets e.g. Microsoft Excel · Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Word.

SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE | Keep records of receipt, placement, and issuance of supplies and materials; maintain up-to-date perpetual inventory records; and coordinate with internal consumers to ensure warehousing and logistics of the material.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
· Receive, inspect, and verify goods being delivered to the warehouse as per the issue and delivery orders · Maintain storage of the materials with clear records of stock · Issues materials, tools, and equipment supplies as per the request orders made. · Monitor stock levels and make requests for replenishing of consumables as per need and upon reaching reorder levels · Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as the warehouse procedures set by the company. · Coordinate with internal consumers; the PMs and supervisors to ensure the materials are available upon order and delivered to the site · Housekeeping of the warehouse and the compound within to ensure it is maintained in a clean and neat standard. · Assessing safety hazards and risks around the warehouse and maintaining safety data related to the work environment. · Inspection of production equipment and tools to ensure they are safe and fit to work and request for repairs when noted. · Presenting safety principles to staff in safety meetings and participating in continuous education on matters of health and safety. · In case of incidents and accidents, to give all support needed for the investigation of the same. · Creating safety plans that include suggested improvements to existing infrastructure and business processes. · Sharing information, suggestions, and observations with the project implementation team to create consistency in safety standards · Adhering to the company’s health and safety goals
